File Selection for the Conversion List
There are two methods for file selection
(Only appropriate file types will be added to the list; .WAV, .MP3, .WMA, .OGG, (CD tracks shown as .WAV; 95, 98,
ME only))
1.) Using Windows Explorer, multiple additions at once
The easiest way to fill the Conversion List quickly if you have a lot of files to convert is:
Click the Explorer
button on the interface, which will open Windows Explorer. Multi-select the files using
Edit, Select All or use Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click to select the files to convert.
(You might need to repostion your Windows a little for this operation).
Then, left-click and drag
the files onto Precision's Conversion List and drop them there.
With this method you can add any
number of files at once.
2.) Using Precision's Explorer, single file additions
On the Folder list side, (left side), of the Explorer, click on "+",
drives and folders to navigate to the locations of files that
you want to convert. (The left
side is also where you choose output locations).
On the file
list side, (right side), of the Explorer, click on filenames that you want to add to the Conversion List. On this
side you can only
click appropriate filename types, i.e.: .WAV, .MP3, .WMA, .OGG,
(CD tracks shown as .WAV; 95, 98, ME only), other types are filtered
out and will not show in the conversion list. Also, double clicking folders on the right side of the Explorer will not expand them. All directory navigation and selection must be performed on the left side.
You can also right-click
on filenames to perform several functions such as: Delete, Open, Play etc.
The Explorer file list does not
automatically refresh as files are added or deleted. Please click the "Refresh" button at the top of the interface to refresh, (update), the file list.
