Easy Hi-Q Recorder
is designed to be easy enough for any beginner to use, yet is loaded with powerful, high-quality features that
will satisfy advanced and professional user's recording needs.
Easy Hi-Q Recorder will record any sound. Sounds are recorded directly to disk without using temporary files. The
audio can be recorded to MP3,
(CBR or VBR), WMA 9,
(Windows Media Audio 9), WAV
or OGG Vorbis. Each format has a wide variety of settings so
that you can set your preferences for quality and file size. Easy Hi-Q Recorder records any audio that passes through
your sound card.
Depending on the format chosen, the quality of the audio can be adjusted anywhere from above CD, pro-quality stereo to low rate
mono. All settings produce excellent sound quality even at the low settings which are suitable for streaming or saving disk
space.
Some examples of what Easy Hi-Q Recorder can record are: any type of audio such as streaming Internet radio, audio or video sounds from Windows Media Player, RealOne Player, Winamp, QuickTime or any other
media player, games, etc. Record the sound from any Internet broadcast, audio or video, whether it's news, sports,
music, talk radio or any format. Anything that can be heard from your speakers can
be recorded.
You can record live sound
with a microphone.
If you take a laptop with you, you can even use it to record meetings, classes, seminars or any event that's important
to you.
If you're a musician, you can record your Midi, Synthesizer or Live compositions. Also create loops to add to your compositions made with Synthesizer software.
You can also convert
any other type of media to any of the four digital formats by
plugging any external device
into your Line In jack. Convert records, tapes, CD's, radio, DAT, Mini-Disc, video tape sounds, T.V. sounds, video
games, telephone or from any other external device.
You can record and save music that is ready to transfer to your Apple iPod, Rio, iRiver, Sony or any other portable MP3 music player! WMA, OGG and WAV are also supported in many portable players.

Easy Hi-Q Recorder can also be used as a real-time, universal audio
file converter. Any type of audio or video sound
file can be converted to MP3, WMA 9, OGG or WAV, regardless of the input file format. The audio
files are not
converted directly but can be recorded as they are played in real-time.
Easy Hi-Q Recorder also includes an audio player that will play your recordings or open and play a large number of additional
audio and video
file types, (audio only). You can play sound from: MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, AIF, AU, RAW, VOX, MPEG, MPPlus, AVI files
and more.
Easy Hi-Q Recorder is designed to be very easy to use. The interface features pop-up ToolTips, that can be turned on or off,
that help guide you with each function. A pause function is included so that you can skip any unwanted portions of what you're
recording. There's a timer
to set your recording length or you can choose unlimited. There's also a built-in VCR-like
timer so you'll never miss one of your favorite broadcasts again.
You can set it to record once,
daily or weekly.
You can select the Minimize to System Tray function, which saves space on your Taskbar, and leave the recorder running and ready
to record or play in the background.
There is a switchable, keep on top feature that keeps the recorder on top of all other Windows. There is also a selectable start recorder at system startup feature that comes in handy if you have scheduled recordings set or if there is a power failure. The recorder will also remember it's last position.
There are many indicators that show information that you need: recorded file size, available free space
left on your hard drive, a play and record sound level meter, play and record time indicators, type and quality
of recording, disk space that will be used for each type, automatic schedule settings, filenames and more.
File naming is automatic.
You never need to worry about any files being over-written. Easy Hi-Q Recorder will either automatically add the date and time to
the filename or add a unique number to each name. All of your settings and directories used are automatically saved for your convenience.
Easy Hi-Q Recorder utilizes the cutting-edge technology of the L.A.M.E. Encoder, v.3.93 for MP3 recording. The
latest high-quality Windows Media Audio 9 codecs are also included for WMA recording.
